Default *** Ran a new best MPH ( 158.59 ) ***

Went to the track this past Saturday for my last track outing of the year , I set a new best mph , ran a 9.04 at 158.59 , with a 1.49 60ft . I couldn't leave with more than 3lbs of boost , the first 100 feet of the track wouldn't hold an aggressive launch . The track was slick all day ,too many FWD and street tire cars , many 11-12 second cars couldn't get down the track , when I ripped that 9.0 pass , half the guys at the track came up and asked how I got down the track , I ran the car with almost a full tank of gas to help traction . My car was kicking some *** on the top end today , if it would've hooked better on the launch I think I might have gotten that 8.7 slip .

It was a great way to end the year , a few weeks ago I got my 8-second slip and ended the year with a new best MPH , and as always the car was driven to and from the track on my radials ( 150 miles round trip ) now I have to decide where I want to go with the car . I may make a few minor upgrades over the winter .

Mightymouse is the man , love that car . I may be upgrading to a 6-bolt block and air to water intercooler like he runs , next year . Not sure if it's in my budget though .

Thanks , I'm running an ET Street Radial , 315-45-16 out back , it's 27-inches tall , and an M+H 17-inch radial up front , I think it's a 185-55-17 . The 315 is a great tire , best 60ft so far is a 1.37 on my 8.87 pass , hooks good on the street and track , and the car is very stable up top .

Not pushing any water , running off the a 14lb spring in a Tial V60 wastegate , makes 18-19lbs with the 14lb spring . I can go up one more pound of boost the way it is . Saving for an AMS-1000 boost controller over the winter . Lots of thoughts on what I want to do , all it takes is money . I may just leave it alone for now .
