MadIce- You bought Steve's car and painted the rear valance Berger-style huh? :p

They are called fuel rail covers, FRC's for short. I bought OEM C5 FRC's from Scoggin-Dickey, a board sponsor. You can customize them to your likings. Happy modding!

Many people just get corvette rail covers and do the work themselves to make them into Camaro/Trans Am covers, but if you want it professionally done go to http://www.afterthoughtsauto.com/fuel-rail-covers.html. They do all the work for you. It's a little pricy, and they take FOREVER to send them (due to high demand they claim), but I don't have the tools or materials to fill in the corvette lettering myself. Nor do I trust that I would be able to get it right. They do basically any paint color with any decal color you're looking for. Check out the pic and the website and see for yourself.

Hope this helps you out!

I have some custom fuel rail covers and to me they make the engine bay look awesome! I paid a pretty penny for them but they were definitly worth it!

Like I said, they're not cheap, but I definitely think they're worth it. It cleans up the engine quite a bit hiding all the ports, etc.

so do they send you the corvette ones and you have to change them to trans am / camaro? Or do they send you ones they have made for trans am / camaro? if it's corvette rail covers, paying the GM parts direct price then having to do the work myself i would much rather just pay a little more in the beginning and have it done right by www.afterthoughtsauto.com

GMPartsDirect will send the original GM "Corvette" text type FRC's, ...

You'll then have to do your own cutting to make them fit your application. (Which is part of the joy of 'doing it yerself'.)

The stuff by Bryan, parbreak, & Afterthoughts are very nice products indeed.
