you cant tell by the pic if they were perfect or not.....i plan on painting mine black because the clear is shot.

Good work, never seen it done like that before, maybe a little touch up and ditch that ABS center cap or just paint it black. I would night shade the corners, paint calipers black, and maybe ceta to go along with it.

please go back and re-read what i wrote. i didnt use the word 'perfect'...

any set of stock rims regardless of condition will look better than rattle can painted rims...PERIOD

makes even less sense to do so since the OP stated he saving for new(er) C6 rims. he should have taken the money and time spent and put the funds towards the new(er) rims, and left the stockers alone...

should he ever sell the car he could put the stockers on and kept the C6wheels. now he's made sure that someone somewhere out there will have to deal with a set of worthless eyesore rims. he could get more money out of them had he simply left them alone...

this of course is my opinion...you have yours, i have mine...

its not, but damn, some people need to stop and think about what it is they're doing, or plan to do...

i believe in clean and simple. not half-thought/half-assed effort because in the end it wont look good. why spend the time and money for a crappy end result...

then again if he's happy that's all that matters. after all its his car, his money...

Looks like you painted everything on the wheel, EXCEPT the rim.

I also would of went with the gloss....
now you have to go back over them and clear coat them.. so the paint does not start messing up and peeling on you...

but for the most part they dont look bad....

I think it looks decent, could have done a better masking job though.
