egr and air system

is it a good idea to take off the egr and air system? do u get more hp?

no power gain what so ever. only shed about 20 pounds.

^^^^agree. it does clean up the engine bay nicely though, and it's a LOT easier to get to the plugs w/o it in the way

Plugs and wires are easy with no air and egr. We sell the egr block off cap for your ls1 intake.

I don't know if it's 20lbs, but there is definitely some weight savings.

Your car wont pass emissions without the air injection system. It's also going to run poor and get bad gas mileage.
