Default Well guys I went an picked me up a Convertible

Well guys I finally flew to Wilmington NC friday Dec 26th to pick it up. It took 700miles and 10 hours to get home. Left at 4:30am to nashville from nashville to reilighe durham Nc from there to wilmington NC. Left with the car at about 12 our time. Went to see the beach with my mom and took our time home. Im going to put my c6 wheels on it and do full exhaust a hood since the hood is bent under the bra. Oh and I have to rebuild the rearend. Started grinding and whining pretty bad about 5hours from home. But it made it. Im happy with it. Also the pinstripe will be coming off. When I bought the car it didnt have it on there. 2 weeks later go to pick it up and it does?! Oh well. Its a 02 Z28 convertible,A4, Black on black, 143,000miles, Older couple owned, Its in pretty good shape. It got 22mpg on the way home averaging 80mph. The car is completly stock. Which im very happy with. I have always liked convertibles. Last camaro convertible I had was when I was 17 it was a 95 with a 98 front clip we did on it. IT managed to hit a co-op semi at about 50 dead stop in the front wheels. It was his fault. My wife girlfriend at the time was pregnant with my son. The car just got out of paint and the 98 front clip. So I decided it was time again to get one. The blue car pics is from 2001

Before when I first got it

Just put the front on waiting on paint

Here is the wrecked one

Looks great man, very clean. there's always been a side of me that's wnated a really nice convertible.. You seem to have everything together, most of the stuff I was going to say you said it yourself . Remove the pinstripe, wheels, hood, grill, sand headlights? (look a little foggy unless it was just damp out). and maybe remove that steering wheel cover unless you like the feel. I love really clean convertible F-Body's

Naw the headlights are hazy. The passenger one is busted so I will get new ones and do the whistler mod to it. The steering wheel cover will more than likely come off aswell.

Those wheels are long gone. The blue car was wrecked in 01. Those wheels are actually on my moms mustang. i gave them to her when I wrecked the blue one. She liked them so she gotem. Naw i sold my 98 z28 and got this one. It runs and drives really good. Im happy with it. Im actually putting my black C6 wheels I have on it.
