Can they fill your standard tanks or do you need an adapter?

Also what do they usually charge. There is a joke of a speed shop down the street from me that sells nitrous and they was 6$/lb. I almost laughed in their face when I heard that.

every place is different however i do not need an adapter at the place i go to. As for price i havn't filled a bottle for awhile so I would just call and ask them but more then likely it'll be cheaper that that.

I would sure hope its a lot cheaper than that. I thought normal speed shops were selling it for 3.50 a lb and nitrous suppliers I would assume would be cheaper.

$3.50 was years ago. I wouldn't be surprised at more shops getting $6 lb this summer.

last year the going rate was anywhere from 4.50 to 5 bucks a pound. As for places in MA that fill them, there is New England Dyno in Douglas, Charlton Performance in Charlton, and this crappy place in Framingham on RT9 that has a sign out front that says they fill, but when i asked the guy about it he got all pissy about it saying he doesnt make any money off it yadda yadda yadda.

i think the place is "extreme performance" on rt 9....but if theyre a shitty business to del with im not so sure id trust them filling my bottles. ive read stories about shitty shops not filling with full nitrous or just plane ripping ppl off.

There is no $$ in Nitrous -the reason I don't plan on carrying it.By the time you setup a few bottles, buy a pump ect the payoff is well over a year.
