Default What is the reset IAC park position?

I was comparing my edit file on my 02Z06 to a another 02 Z06 and noticed that the RESET IAC Park Posion was different. Mine is set to 310 and his is 160? What does that do?

It's the IAC motor position when the engine is first started.

Is that what causes the high rpm and drop to idle when starting. Any idea how much change is needed to see some effect?

Hey!! Cal - this is on a Vette with Fly-by Wire ( I know that, you know that, I'm just reminding you as we see so few Vette posts). Does this apply with each start after an idle relearn???Seems like Idle relearn position would be primary and Reset value would be secondary (default) value. I'm not sure- I'm asking???

The stock value on my '02 Z06 is also 310. The LS1Edit UG says the value is used after a PCM reset, so appears to be some kind of default that gets used before some type of learning takes place.

The question is what does 310 correspond to? With the throttle butterfly typically reading around 7% at idle, I don't see the correlation.

It would seem that cars with different cams would need a change to this value. I may try the same percentage change used on the VE table, but would like to know more.

LG sent me a tune for G5 cam for a friend, it was set at 160. They also suggested a hole in the TB?

The value is the number of steps (target) the controller will be parked at. With EFILive V5 you can scan with DESIAC PID. I believe 310 is max.

And I take it this could only effect the amount of air entering the intake upon starting the car? It would have no effect on drivability, correct?

Whoops, screwed up again, another Z06!
I've never wanted to change this value; my car revs up good on startup even with the cam. When cold, it slows down a bit after that, though.
