What is the reset IAC park position?
I was comparing my edit file on my 02Z06 to a another 02 Z06 and noticed that the RESET IAC Park Posion was different. Mine is set to 310 and his is 160? What does that do?

It's the IAC motor position when the engine is first started.

Re: What is the reset IAC park position?
The stock value on my '02 Z06 is also 310. The LS1Edit UG says the value is used after a PCM reset, so appears to be some kind of default that gets used before some type of learning takes place.
The question is what does 310 correspond to? With the throttle butterfly typically reading around 7% at idle, I don't see the correlation.
It would seem that cars with different cams would need a change to this value. I may try the same percentage change used on the VE table, but would like to know more.

And I take it this could only effect the amount of air entering the intake upon starting the car? It would have no effect on drivability, correct?

I've never wanted to change this value; my car revs up good on startup even with the cam. When cold, it slows down a bit after that, though.
