what needs to be done to a 1998+ camaro ss to run a 315 out back. what kind of wheel back spacing or off set of the wheels need to be

depends on the offset of the wheel and your suspension setup. I had to BFH and roll my fenders to fit a 305 on 56mm offset and prokit lowering springs:

a 10.5" rim. Although I think a guy on here just did it on his stock ws6 rims but many say that isn't safe.

Check the wheel/tire section, faq as its been covered many times.

Like above, alot of times a Big F'n Hammer needs to massage the fender well where the tire rubs.

I just did the BFH mod. I didnt have to roll the lip on the quarters either and I'm lowered on an eibach prokit and I have an 11 inch rim. Havent even come close to the lip on the quarter yet.

thanks for the info..
i have a pair of 315/35-17s and a pair of 275/40-17 that i got for free and looking to put on

but were is the best place to look for some rims at?
