I hated my poly and sold it yrs ago. I just bought a lifetime warranty from Autozone and replace it when it breaks. It's only broke 3 times in the last 4 yrs and I can handle that since its a 15 minute swap if that long.

Probably has to do with the semi hard launches since the Vig install with sticky tires, lol. I didn't like the poly cause of the vibes I got through it. Kinda a oxymoran since I run longtubes dumped.

A factory one should do you fine. I have heard a lot of guys saying they didn't like the polly.

I bought my Prothane mount from ThunderRacing. I had a busted *** stock mount that knocked my tranny bad. I like how the Prothane feels, makes it firm but didn't add any vibes that I could really notice.

I then switched to polyurethane and used it a while, but it does transfer alot of vibrations. also i heard of few people breaking their tailshaft with them, so i swapped a stock replacement from autozone back in and didnt have problems.
it is an easy swap, but if you keep breaking the stock one i would get a polyurethane(some autozones carry them)

TPiS.com (sponsor) has it for $25. That cheap enough Vibrations are said to be remedied with using the poly torque arm bushing.

Which I also soon had to replace my TA bushing with a Prothane 10k miles after my Prothane tranny mount.

I never experienced any problems with vibrations or my torque arm going out with my 91 350 TPI, and they have more torque! heh

I have one of the Poly ones from Auto Zone, it's made by Energy Suspension. I have a Tunnel Brace mounted Torque Arm too, so that doesn't mess with the Tail Shaft at all.

If you dont want the poly, another option is the 98+ mount which is more like the 1LE mount or so I hear. No one in my town even has a trans mount for any fbody besides the stealership.
