Cruise the Crest Breakfast Club Jan. 18 2009
It's time again to terrorize the Angeles Crest Highway, have a great breakfast, and spend some time bench racing with a bunch of fellow gearheads.
As before we will be meeting at the Shell station at the Angeles Crest Highway exit off the 210 freeway at 6:30am. The 27-mile winding-road drive is a thrill (if you want it to be,) as are the scenic views and the great food at Newcomb's Ranch. Bring any car you want. Heck, don't bring a car at all and hitch a ride with one of the others.

Everyone, and I mean everyone, is welcome. Have a trashtruck? Bring it!
The mix depends on who shows up. Usually early Camaros and Chevelles are regulars, but several F-bodies from here, along with some C5/6's sometimes go along as well. There's no theme, show, etc. Just a bunch of car people. I hope the LS1 Maggie can come so we can compare notes.
I don't know about the Thursday meet. Can't miss the gas station off the ACH exit. It on the side of the freeway opposite the mountains.

Saw a couple more 1st gens and a orange GTO that all looked pretty clean but didn't get any shots of them.

Wow, thats a pretty awseome road. I went up there this morning and that road was fun.I averaged about 60-65 both ways and some turns were a challenge at higher speeds. You gotta go up, or down, that road hauling ***. Nice place to take pix as well. I gotta make a Sunday meet for this one. Not a road for beginners.
