probably the abuse mode kickin' in for the differential score protection... all part of the torque management setup to keep from running over your own tranny/axles haha...

Ya the differential score protection sucks, my car is tuned and has still fell on its face. What's the use of a v8 if you can't use it. One of the reasons i'm shopping around now.

If you have ever had your car nosedive when you tried to take off fast and then take off again a second later, that would be it. Its like the fuel is cut to the engine (not sure if that is exactly how this is accomplished).

Yes, you'll notice the engine cuts out. Its really not like a tranny slip. Cause the whole car just pauses vs the engine revving higher and you not going anywhere.

Would you rather have a car that spits axle shafts or fall on its face....I'd rather keep my **** intact please.

just make sure you're going in a straight line when you go WOT so you don't start one legging it. when you start one legging it the computer cuts power so you don't fry the differential. im guessing getting the torsen LSD unit would help cut this situation down by spinning both tires but then you will just be understeering. so all in all either way FWD = teh suck!!1! and we're screwed

I wasnt ******* the car, i know the protection is good for the tranny and should be there. It just sucks that we have to have such measures put in place. I'd rather have a tranny strong enough to take the abuse from the get go. The score protection kicked in on me tonight, taking off from a stop sign earlier going straight, not even on the gas that hard. I guess i gave it a little to much to quick. I guess the only way to solve this is to upgrade the tranny

You can buy a race 4L65e-HD at I believe ZZP, but I'm not sure, I'll try and find it then edit my post It's like 1600 bucks and has been totally worked over. Or maybe its at 3800 performance. We definitely need a beefed up LSD on our cars <<<<<WTF????? lol

K, here it is as promised, ok, so the tranny is 1950 smackers, a tad more expensive http://www.3800performance.com/Merch...roduct_Count=0

Oh, and here's the link for a shift kit http://www.3800performance.com/Merch...ategory_Code=T

I noticed the GXP isn't listed in the applications, but the IMPSS and MonteSS are. I assume that means the GXP is applicable by default??
