Is there any benifit t odeleteing the AIR off of a 2002 ls1? I am installing a TSP 85mm lid and ZO6 85mm mass air and the lid doesn't have the provision for the air hose on my 2002 camaro. I am trying to decide between just eliminating the air. or just use a filter on the air hose that goes on to the air lid.

ditto what rooster said.
if you have stock manifolds you need blockoff plates. and i'm pretty sure there is a code to delete or else you'll throw an SES. been too long since i removed mine... can someone confirm that?

it'll throw a check engine light, but it's easy for someone with a tuner to tune out. when i had the tune put on my car, they just tuned it out while they were in there
