6500
A little over a year. I have to be careful becase wheel inertia will make it spin past the shift point and hit the limiter in 1st every time and sometimes 2 if I don't back out of it a bit on street tires.....I pretty much cruise a low profile until somebody wants to F with me so I don't thrash it much. When I go to Raleigh though the Bimmers and C5/C6's wanna run......Last C6 i ran with we both leveled out at 150 and did 3 1/2 miles before I had to turn off. Head rush city....

I have a buddy "Terrance" he is my tuner and he has a firehawk with the original MS-1 cam and some of the first Patriot heads LS-6 style. He had to flycut for the cam to fit and added arp rod bolts. HE HAD IT SHIFTING AT 7300 RPMs That boggles my mind i couldnt beleive that when he told me. I think he moved it down to 6800 after a while.

You will need too cause that cam makes power up high. I would keep it around 6500 if you are 98-00 because of rod bolts and keep it under 7k if you are 01-02 unless you are lookin for an excuse for a 402 or 408 Some here will disagree with me but that is as far as I would personally push things.
