Question from where to buy new engine and what

I know a friend from over seas looking for a new lt1 engine

his car a 1994 camaro

he asked me from where to buy new engine ?


and if he want to swap to ls1

What does he need

Buy a short/long block from Golen or AI or Ellwein.

LS1 swap is not worth it, if you want an ls1, buy an ls1 car.

swaps in these cars tend to generally not be worth it imo unless you plan on going all out performance wise

the cars are too cheap these days to go through the hassle of buying a motor, k-member, transmission, wiring harness, pcm, etc

i agree but if he does do a swap soon i have a k member for an ls1

www.ellweinengines.com, thats whos doing mine. not cheap but uses top quality parts. mines somewhere around $8500, it would have been 6600 except i wanted the dragonslayer crank and compstar components, not eagle. Ai Trick Flow heads also, and also getting the intake ported by them..
