What you hear at the start of the video was my GTO wheel hopping going into second gear.

I did bang the limiter going into 4th gear, as I was looking over my shoulder to see how far back the cobra was.

I have drag bags, but I didn't have any air in them for this race.

I didn't wheel hop off the line, just getting into second some.

nice kill...but as you said, you must have the driver mod...as he has more power and doesn't weigh any more than you...of course the drag bags could've helped..

Just weld in mufflers, stock manifolds. My car dyno'ed extremely high and outtraps a lot of header GTO's at the track.

My GTO runs like a GTO should... unfortunately there are too many out there that people don't know how to use to their full potential.

That's the thing... making a car run "like it should" with traction, shift, line lock and launch master mods. Other than that it's a drivers race. You can make up 50whp with launch/traction/driver.

Clean run on his part aside from not getting off the line very hard.

Stock pulley = not much whine at all. I think my exhaust was drowning it out.
