Default missfire getting worse.

Alright my ls1 z28 has had a miss for a month now. At first it wasn,t that bad, but now its missing all the time. I bought new plugs, wires, and a fuel filter. I also ran some seafoam to clean the injectors. I dont know if the problem is fuel or electrical. But i think its electrical bc every time i get on it a little bit the check gauges light keeps blinking while its missing. Has anything simuler happend to anybody before, or does anybody know what it might be.

To me it sounds like it could be a bad plug wire or burnt plug. Happened to me. I kept putting in new plugs and it was the O2 sensor fouling it up... Changed the Bad O2 and its been fine every since

the SES light will blink when you missfire, so that wouldnt be a reason to think its electrical

Are you getting P0300? Fuel or electrical are not the only things that cause a misfire-in fact the most common cause is vacuum leak.Check this site:http://www.aa1car.com/random-misfire/

It could be a bad or failing coil pack. One might be getting sensitive to heat & getting heat soaked. It's hard to say for sure.

GM standard coils hold up very well though, but if you have MSD's, I'd focus right in on the pack(s).

I had the same problem after I put my headers on, so Im thinking we messed something up. So I changed the o2 sensors and the plugs and it ended up being that.
