well I am leaving if it gets bad because last year when we had the small ice storm,
it took me almost 3 hours to drive 27 miles home......

I'm rolling on Nitto DRs in this just like I did during the last "ice storm."

If I leave early it just because I get to and not from the weather.

I'm hoping to leave around noon because I can work on my jobs VPN as well. They say its supposed to be around 29 degrees with on going precipitation after 1pm. I'm not risking the terrible drivers up here running into my car!

Me too.. I am here in frisco/plano area...
we have thermo here and it reads 32 degrees.. so its cold.. and with freezing rain I am sure that it is going to stay that cold if not colder...

But I can drive in this, its the dumb asses who think they have a truck so they can do 65 around everyone doing 45......
I think we are all in the boat that if we go home early, its just cuz...
lol

Yeah exactly! I'm actually working in the downtown Ft.Worth area. Oh and I made a typo above. I said 39... I meant 29, and that's not even with the expected wind chills too!

i work downtown dallas and live just north of Little Elm (43 mile trip home)

in normal weather it takes me about 1-1.5 hrs to get home. i'm going to guesstimate a 2-3 hr drive today.

i hope to get out of here around 12

Ive already left for the day. I work in a distribution center/warehouse if the office closes we get to leave also. I left at 10 but hanging at my g/fs work. We rode together so I could drive her car. Who knows when she will get to leave though. I may be here all day. It said 27 on the thermo on the rearview mirror when got in.

Im on the northside of fort worth 35 and alliance area. It was a freezing drizzle type when i left but I just heard that its getting heavier. So of course the roads are probably getting worst.

Its only about a 5 minute drive from my work to hers and I took a back road. It was alittle slick in spots but nothing to bad on that road. Who knows about the bridges.
