Guess your goin for SPL only & no SQ huh?
I have (1) 10 in a custom stealth with a Zapco 350i running it w/each channel to a voicecoil & it's loud as hell. Granted it doesn't shake my car like a SPL machine but it has a very nice tone & is plenty if your gonna be stayin in the car while it's on.
I used to do SPL & had my first car set-up with a single 15" Digital Design DVC sub on a 2200w amp then switch to a Kicker ZR1000(old school, LOL). It did 147 off the windshield & would play 19hrtz like no bodies business. Scott Shope built my set-up. He used to own the famous at the time knuckle dragger that was filled with 15" Vega Strokers.

that setup in my truck was a SQ setup. The system going in my camaro will be a bass race machine. but SQ for daily listening (15's can be turned off and the 8's in the sails can be turned on)

ahh, hidden 8's. I just used a great mid/high set with it's own amp to replace my stock speakers & then thru the single 10 in the back. I didn't think it would be enough but it has proven me wrong, LOL. I daily drive it so I didn't want to get too extreme. Plus I like to go to the track without having to remove a 200lb box first too. It's nice to bump all the way to the burnout box, LOL.

something like this is what i had in mind...Attachment 163521
That would give you a lot more room for a good sizes enclosure!
