Default Beat a newer GT

After i installed my drop on my 93' i took it out to let the suspension settle in. A blue Mustang GT comes up beside me and passes me so i play catch up with it. Mind you guys im in my 93 with a K&N filter and LM1 exhaust A4 with 2.73 gears and 163k on the drivetrain.

We get to about 50 and she hits it, gets about car out on me before i stop her pull and begin to pull. By 90 i was half car out slowly pulling on it.

To be honest i thought i was gonna loose that race, but i guess the old iron block has some ***** in her haha

Any guys ever loose to a stock GT?

lol, probably 99-04 which makes it a drivers race, the 05+ are definitely quicker than lt1

Yeah, the 99-04 GTs is a driver's race with an LT1 F-body. But a 2.73-geared A4 163k mile LT1 should give the win to the GT. An '05+ GT has no reason to lose.

Good kill OP. My old 94' formula A4 had a lid and the cat removed. Also had a 2 chamber flow on the stock exhaust and went 13.8. With a 100 shot went 12.8. It was no slouch but no run for a M5 new GT. Would have took a stock 99-04 GT 9 out of 10 times.
