'94 Camaro Z28, Built LT4, T70
Hey guys, im looking to buy a 94 Z28 with a forged LT4 and a MP T70 turbo. (all supporting mods, heads, fuel, water meth, etc.) The condition of the car is excellant and mechanically it is perfect. The built motor/turbo parts have very low mileage (around 3000 i believe) It is a 6 speed. I was just curious as to what people think this car would go for? Thanks for the input!

srry bout that...i didnt read it close enough i guess....its in the right forum now. Im guessing between 8-12k for that setup...it could be higher depending on parts used and rear end/wheels/tires/tranny-clutch

Thanks for the input. Its basically fully built to the extreme with top of the line parts. also has nitrous and water meth. spec clutch. stock rear but i believe it has a girdle and 4:10s. It was all done by an ase tech, basically the original owner (has been in the family since it was new) Also, perfect interior, racing seats.

You really need to give alot more info. I buy and sell alot of heavily modified LTx cars. Off hand, here are a few things (IMO) that heavily influence the value of the car:
-mileage on body (low mileage motors don't sell the car)
-is the current combo tuned?
-was the motor run before tuning (always the chance for damage on a heavily modded car)

Off hand, I'd say around $7k if it's tuned well.
I am about to buy a turbo LT1 car myself (don't worry, it's not the same one!). $7500 and its a 95, front mount, forged stroker, and tuned.
Hope that helps you some.
Let me know if you have any other questions.
Thanks, Jason

You are absolutely right. That price is rediculous. There are quite a few people out there that are still trying to get huge money for LT1 cars.....no surprise they never sell.
$15k is what alot of nice turbo LS1 cars are going for.
The car has a cheap ($450-500) turbo, stock rear end, and possibly an unknown crank. ?? It's also important to know if the block has splayed 4-bolt main caps or just the stock 2-bolt as well as who built it.
Don't feel bad for passing on that one

The price of the turbo doesnt really matter. Any pics? What kind of kit is it? Header? log manifold? Some rigged up kit or a nicely done setup? More info on the turbo setup would be nice.
If the car is very nice it could be worth $15k. If the thing was a proven 10 second daily driver...which it should easily run 10s. 2-bolt 4-bolt mains...doesnt really matter with only 600-700HP. Same with the crank, stock forged would work fine.
If someone was selling a turbo car with a built stroker for $7k I would be prepared to rebuild the entire thing.
Get pics of this car. Also most people start out listing cars high because most people jew them down. Maybe $12k is what its really worth and the seller knows this?
