Shall be a more beefed up variant of the G8's suspension.

Yes, longer rails to support the longer hood lines and rear-overhang. It will be more performance orientated with different springs and shocks. However, I think some of the integrity of the Holden Commodore's chassis, (G8) will be lost due to the modifications needed to be used in the new Camaro.

The G8 and GTO were directly imported from Australia with no changes other than a "body kit" and Pontiac badges, so they're not completely on the same level.

Where is it going to lose integrity?

I don't know on the mounting points.

Probably very similar, if not the same as the G8 GT/GXP.

I'll do some research on what exactly is the difference between the GT and GXP suspension. Just as a side note, the latest R&T (or was it MotorTrend) just compared the GXP to the Charger SRT8, with the GXP hitting 0-60 in 4.7 seconds (in an automatic). I don't recall the quarter mile.

Similar to the G8, yes. But NOT the same.

G8 is Zeta. Camaro is ZetaII.
The parts will be similar, but very few parts will be interchangeable between the cars.
Alot of the suspension components are beefed up since the G8's development.

Front suspension, IRS, rear suspension... many differences, not much direct swapping will work.

Well there was a little more than that done, some added bracing and fuel tank relocation etc (on the GTO at least).
