Dyno'd the Camaro...thanks CMS!!!
Well I finally took my Camaro back to CMS for a tune. Ryne, Mike and CJ did a great job, as usual, on my car. Mike was able to fix the methanol problem. Turned out one of the electrical wires in the kit had a broken solder joint and wasn't making connection. Also he found the wire for 12v switched power wasn't attached very well into the cars wire harness. So now the meth works despite the led indicator lights on the kit aren't working. I'll have to call alkycontrol and try to figure out that portion of it.
I also asked Ryne to go back to a maf tune instead of using SD. It's an either or situation and I just prefer to use the maf. The tune came out great!!!! Ryne made a couple 550 rwhp runs but the air/fuel ratio was a little on the high side (12.0). He made a few adjustments has the car making a solid 540 rwhp with a perfect 11.5 air/fuel. Torque is at 507 ftlb. Also to note, this is using a Dyno Dynamics system so I think if I get on a dyno-jet system the numbers will show higher. But that's just it...they're only numbers and the car is very stable and very nice. Can't wait 'til LA Invasion '09.
:drivin:
My next step is to upgrade to a bigger procharger head unit. My little P1 unit is only making 9 lbs of boost. Ryne really thinks I should go with a F1a plus a front mount intercooler. I should easily be in the 600+ rwhp range with more boost. So I'm definitely going to start putting away my spare change to save up for those goodies.
Here's the graph.

Thanks....yeah forced induction is the way to go IHMO. With FI you want to keep afr around 11.5 to keep it more or less safe from leaning out. Going lean under WOT can be extremely hazardous.
