Default Pics of my wheelie bars and new trunk mods!!!!

Alright guys picked up the car today at teh fab shop after 2 weeks.... I put in another post what my fab guy did but i'll run it down... Modified my trunk by cutting it and raising the floor about 7 inches to provide clearance for the set of chromoly wheelie bars. Fabricated a brand new steel battery box, did some mods to the cage by rewelding the steel plates to the floor, unbent my steering rack, modified the panhard bar with a spherical rod end so it's adjustable and he reinforced and boxed the panhard bar mounts, installed the 65" wheelie bars on the car from chassisworks, made me a completely new bottle bracket plate that is welded to the car for my 15lb bottle. The current floor was too short to hold the entire bracket so he welded a steel panel to lengthen the floor and bolted the bracket to that. He also removed the old panel that I had cut in the floor to get to the stock intank fuel pump back in the day. Overall he did an AMAZING job. these pics don't do his work justice cause they are from my iphone... his fab skills are awesome and the welding is second to none. I can't wait to see waht this thing will do now that it will stay on the ground..... enjoy fellas...

That a 255cmph fuel pump? (1 cubic meter = 1000 liters) That thing's huge heh Or was it you who had a NASA toilet pump he was going to use for something in his car, and finally found a use for it? (Seriously, someone here actually does have a NASA toilet electri pump heh) (EDIT: K just to make a point, no I'm not actually serious about you using that pump, it's just big is all heh)

I've always been amazed that those rollerskate looking wheels work out fine. I remember my shop teacher was going to use this solid rubber dolly wheels for his T-Bucket LOL They were like 4-5" diameter

It's an Aeromotive A1000 Eliminator pump... yeah i wasn't expecting it to be that big either until it came in..... According to aeromotive it'll support 1200hp.... it's loud and big but man does it pump some fuel....

Guess you are not running the the Modified power adder class at the Shootout then? Outlaw only with bars
nah these are a tuning tool or if i'm not running in a class that dictates no bars... 4 bolts and they're off.... i plan on running MPA or Outlaw if the track is so good I can't calm the car down...

Mine went to mid 90's before I started to screw the regulator adjustment down.

Looks good Outlaw!
