Default fast 90 and nw tb help and question

i just put a fast 90 with NW tb. the hole on the tb is drilled out a lil bigger so it will idle better with my cam.

my question is what would make the mass air throw a code, and is it common for the car to sound different. now the exhaust sounds deeper or something idk maybe its just me.

and when i am idling there is a loud sucking sound from the K N air filter. is that from the hole being bigger on tb.

thanks guys

dude....you waited an HOUR....

changing how much air goes into the engine can def change how it sounds. sucking sound COULD also be a leak ahead of the TB. could also be why you're throwing a code.

and from what i've read....a drilled TB on the FAST is the band-aid way to get it tuned for the setup.
i know my FAST 90mm TB doesn't have a single hole in it.

its kindda like making a big cam idle smooth by making the idle rpm 1100

ok. but it still idles at 790 to like 840. and thats what it idled with stock tb. so i dnt think it helped at all. i will check and see if there is a leak around the tb bc that sound is so loud

My car makes the same rushing air noise...common to the 90/90 setup(feeding the beast). I believe NW suggest not to increase the whole size in the blade unless absolutely necessary ....this might be the cause of your code along with tuning issue.

Ditto, get the car tuned.U will pick up from a retune after a 90/90 install, both powah wise an drivability wise.

Why did you drill the hole larger? That's what the idle air control and tune is for.

i didnt. thats how it was when i got it used. but when i fix the vacume leak it will still idle at like 800, so its fine. alot of ppl do that.
