Cadillac CTS V
Went to the drag strip the other day, had a blast. Saw 2 Cadillac CTS's there. The fastest one ran 12.40 @ 112. Has any one here ran any of them? I like the car, a good looking fast luxuary 4 door. Is it the ls6 or ls7 they put in these? I just haven't seen much talk about them on here.

The 09 CTS-V has the LSA, which is NOT the same as an LS9....
-The LSA has a 1.9L Eaton blower vs the LS9's 2.3L Eaton
-THe LSA produces 9 psi vs the LS9's 10.5 psi
-The titanium connecting rods and intake valves of the LS9 were replaced by forged powdered metal and SilChromel, respectively.
-The exhaust valves on the LSA are not sodium filled either. The exhaust manifolds are cast iron rather than stainless steel as on the LS9 and the main bearing caps are nodular iron rather than steel.
-The pistons in the LSA are hyper-eutectic cast aluminum rather than being forged.

Re: CTS-V2
I would think they would dyno a little higher - https://ls1tech.com/forums/cadillac-...no-sheets.html
Seems that 450 is about the norm.
