Thats because you didn't get it tuned for the new throttle body since you have an A4 Might as well take it off till you get it tuned for it, otherwise you can kiss your transmission buh-bye! (not right away, but relatively soon)

I however won't rule out that some of it could be due to either TPS misadjustment, misinstalled or just plain bad TPS. I think the common sign of what I was referring to is too early a shift under WOT.

When you get the new TPS on, and if you put on the TB again, see if it shifts earlier than 5800rpm (5700 would be fine).

i called f body motor sports in Charlotte and they said i didnt need a tune to install a tb. I have installed this tb on my 93 with no problems at all. Anyway the old one is back on and it still acting up. This Freaking BLOWS

I agree that you need a new tune after a throttle body swap. I put a 52 mm on mine, and it would hit the rev limiter for a second before it would shift. My tuner said he needed to update the tune for it, so I went out to him and he made a simple adjustment.
I don't think this is your problem however. Did you get that new tps on yet? Have you checked tps voltage at idle and WOT? I know it's kinda difficult, but a sweeping voltage check from idle to WOT is also a good idea. the voltage will bounce around, but you should be able to see any spikes in voltage.

sounds like there may be a vacum leak. or some sort of hose is not fully connected. if the maf is broken the car shouldnt run.... at least that is what happened to me

My 94 Z28 camaro did this exact thing the other day when I was racing my buddies 01 Lightning! I had just installed the 58mm TB an my car wouldn't shift correctly and the service engine light came on. I got the code read and it stated that my TPS is reading high and that my left 02 sensor was lean. Doesn't make since to me either but talking with a trans builder the TPS sensor could cause the shifting issues considering it's all the electronic bull crap that goes hand in hand with motor and auto trans. The day after my car was acting up I started it up and took it for a spin and it drove just fine. I suggest getting it tuned as well. I will be by Ion at mad Z28 when I drive home to Illinois in a few weeks.
Oh I have no clue about slotting the TPS so if some one want's to explain how this is done and what this will help I would love to hear!!!

from what i gather there talking about cutting the holes with a drill or sumthing and making it to where you can adjust and tighten the screws back. idk thats why i just bout a new one but dont have the stuff to put it on with here at my gf

The stock TPS is not adjustable, it only has two round holes that bolt it to the TB. What you sometimes have to do is make the holes into slots so that the TPS can be turned to get the correct voltage at idle and WOT. You do this by using a drill bit and cutting away the plastic.
