+1 Formula to the stable...
A friend of mine quit his job to go back to college and wanted something more "daily driver" like, so today I traded him my '01 GTP for his NBM '98 Formula M6. I loved my GTP and just put a bunch of money into it, but I couldn't pass up the chance to have one for drag racing and one for auto-x/road racing. Plus, it's modded, although not quite to the extent of my BGC. This is in addition to my '98 BGC with a Procharger that runs 10s and my '96 V6 Firebird Coupe that my girlfriend daily drives.
It also has a 160* thermostat. I'm gonna ditch the C5 wagon wheels and the gf is gonna put them on the V6 once she finds me something suitable for my tastes to go on the NBM. I also think I'm gonna ditch the SD and put a MAF back on the car and have the tune completely redone. The car, although decently modded, also has the stock airbox setup That is getting remedied very quick, I already have a lid on order.
It's weird, because both cars are very similar, yet drive so differently
Car dyno'd 365rwhp & 373rwtq befor I added the LS6 intake and ditched the magnaflow

to see it with dull zr1 s look in my profile, bottom album. we loved em just didn't know how to get em lookin right. they looked bad when we got em. brian polished em up but let em go for the black wagon wheels on it now. I really wish I would have had the windows tinted and then never sold it.
we needed a bigger vehicle though. seven kids! We now have three vehicles and are looking for a ram air trans am to buy this spring. six speed of course.
I wish too that I knew how fast the formula is now. I never took it to the track but know that the guy I sold it to did but it needed a driver mod. His best was a 13.2 @109 spinning in first and second. I always thought it would be good for 12.50 s or so hooked up at around 112 or 113.
I want 400rwhp or better now and a car that will hold together against it.
