Ordered my heads and cam
Well guys i finally did it ordered my heads and cam from elliot lloyd and cant be happier guy was nice as hell and told me exactly what route to go for what im looking for also got my injectors fuel pump and new headers hoping this will put me in the low 11s!

Awesome. I'm excited that I finally talked to my installed about installing some parts in May. I'm going with the AI 226/234 complete cam kit, a new fuel pump and a bunch of other stuff. Can't wait!

well i got sum new 1 3/4 long tube headers a walbro fuel pump new gaskets 37lb delphi injectors im going with the Le1 heads with a 226/234 .565/.565 109 LSA cam. Ported LT1 intake gunna mill the heads .035 instead of .010 and were gunna drill the intake port holes as well and a 58mm TB

That seems like a decent cam selection...I run a Joe Overton/Erson grind thats 226/234 .568" on a 111 lsa...and thats in a 383....These motors love the smaller duration higher lift stuff...That should be a great street/strip cam with nice drivability...check out my trap speed in my sig if you don't think those weenie cams work...

I don't wanna tell you how to run your set up, but you might want to look into spending the extra couple hundred bucks and get his LE2 heads. Just an idea. That way if you decide to step up your build in the future you will have the heads to flow it.

do you plan on drag racing or dyno tuning once it is back together? very interested in what the LE1 can do, as everybody usually goes with the LE2 and we know what those can do.

Yes def gunna have it tuned the right way well i think the le2 heads will only add another 10 hp and in my eyes for another 400 its not worth 400 what do you guys think??? Sorry i messed up the name lol

Lloyd says 10 just to cover his ***. Id bet 25HP or more. He told be While its possible to break 400rwhp expect around 390 with my LE2s. I put down 414RWHP with a Dana S60 rear(which robs alot of HP on the dyno) and cut out. I have since switched to True Duals for more power. So Im guessing 425ish now.
Id bet its gonna be tuff to break 400rwhp NA with the LE1s

Stock cube motor ? I don't see low 11's with that combo unless you have some serious weight reduction big gears and a high stall 4000 maybe but, I can see some high 11's to possibly mid 11's either way not bashing your set up.

Well heres my set up as it is i have new opti plugs wires 1.6 rockers titanium valves 373 gear 6 speed electric water pump 1 3/4 longtube headers no cats to true duals eaton differntal so im hoping that setup will be kick *** with a kick *** tune. Maybe ill just dive in and get the LE2
