engine rebuild ?
my ls1 has bout 130,000 on it and was planning on rebuildin it but i wont hav the money to get it done by summer so i was wondering would it be bad to do heads/cam and boltons, then this coming winter rebuild it? no problems with it so far, oil pan looks lik its leakin alittle but thats it.

Well, it depends on your goals really. If you plan on beating on it, and if you add a cam/heads setup, sounds like you will. So, I personally would do the bottom end now, and THEN do the top end. You can look at it like this:
Say you do heads/cam on your high mileage motor, and the added power/excitement, your bottom end expires sooner than you like. Then what do you do? You just spent all your money on teh top half
I would build a solid foundation to work on, save up some more, and then do teh top end, and then you have no worries about breaking something in teh bottom end. My .02
