Default Fresh Tune on my 403

I returned to Xtreme Horsepower in Hurst, TX Friday and Blacky put down 491hp and 475lb/tq to the rollers. You see the setup in the sig. All that remains is the stock 10-bolt.

now go dyno the engine at another dyno and find that it only made 440rwhp and 450rwtq.

It is a fact that Xtreme lies about dyno numbers or has a incorrect dyno calibration.

It used to be true. It was proven on one of my buddies car. If they are still continuing this practice I do not know.

Don't hate WizeAss; back up assumptions with facts I have had it Dynoed there twice and I think it is pretty close.

Lets hope not. Publishing BS dyno numbers is a bunch of crap. It hypes up a combo, and when someone else tries to duplicate the results its impossible. I could see 5, 10 even 15 rwhp off, but when you are 30 or so off what was claimed its obvious that someone is playing with the dyno just to spit out a target number.

I remember when LGM was accused of doing it, Vengeance Racing was accused of having a happy dyno as well. Those are two top notch shops and they have backed up there initial tests over and over again. There combos have been duplicated and results have been right on. I certainly hope that Xtreme Horsepower is putting out accurate dyno numbers.

Nice numbers!! Can you give cam specs? if you dont I understand..I have those same heads but with 1 7/8 headers on a 346,and in the fall thinking of going bigger and just reusing my heads..I'm a A4 with a 5c 42-4400 stall so it wont be a dyno queen I know, but I would just like to get some kinda idea

It is a fact.. Just ask my web guy... he had his yellow C5 vette dyno'd at three other local places and Xtreme was the only one that was up over 40rwhp! Hopefully they fixed it... but I doubt it.

Take it to SQR, HPP, Gearheads, or RPM just to make sure Donalr

Previously the car put down 460hp/440ft/lb I think this is right on. I think the intake is holding me back and I have a Fast 92mm.

we deal with that crap here quite a bit. There is a shop here that tells people B.S. numbers all the time.....then they come to us for mods and retuning, and when they make the same power or LESS with the new mods, they think we are idiots.

Its hard to make a customer understand he just spent thousands of dollars to make LESS power.....but we tell it like it is and publish REAL numbers.
