Appearance & Detailing - My $hit is black.

Hey, I just wanted to share a couple pics of the bird the way she sits now. Just got done doing some appearance mods this winter. The only things left to do to the exterior is get a ram air hood back on but I will probably end up going with a ws9 and also some lowering springs! Thanks to jwill_20 for his time and effort put into painting the lights and making them look as good as they do. Let me know what you think!

1. Painted calipers
2. Trans am caliper decals
3. Vht'd most lights (tails, 3rd brake, side markers, and also the middle filler panel for a perfect match over time)
4. Silver ceta trans am and bird + pontiac decals in rear
5. Carbon Fiber WS.6 rear letter decals (just the letters individually, not the whole emblem overlay thanks to bfranker!)

Looks good! When tails are blacked out I prefer the center section clean and the reverse lights still white, but it does look good and I'm diggin' the CF overlay, cool idea!

Thanks for the compliments guys! The steps on the vht was prepping the lights well to be painted, then four thin coats of vht, and then we took the tails down to the chevrolet dealership and our friend down there just threw them in when they cleared a car and sprayed it with 3 coats of their good clear. The other lights were cleared with rattle can clear but I wanted the tails cleared professionally!

edit: and yeah steeps I will be sure to bring it down there if I get the 3rd synchro fixed in time! I can't wait to see your new SOM in person!

Yeah, fuck california man. maybe thats why I see seven tons of cali lisence plates out here in colorado every day :confused:
