Sad, sad day. Although it wasn't mentioned by name, I would assume the same goes for Saturn's redline series and Pontiac's GXP series. I sure hope not! They have to leave something for us!! (oh wait, the corvette probably isn't going anywhere.)

There was no Z28 Camaro due to come out next year. It was nothing more than speculation. And with this you can kiss any hope of it good bye. What you have now is what you get. Sucks, but it makes sense at this point. The cars they were pumping out were niche vehicles and not high volume. It's all the other cars where money is made, so it makes sense to move resources toward those vehicles at this time.

Saturn will be gone by 2011 and pontiac is becoming a name for "Niche Vehicles"

Essentially Pontiac is done. The only vehicles they have worth keeping that I would see being called Niche vehicles are the Solstice and G8, both of which have no planned replacements after this current model run.
