I am using the hookers and other than hitting the column shift linkage they fit great and tuck up nice. However, if they were around when I was shopping I would have gotten the edelbrocks cuz they are stainless and should make more power not to mention cheaper than the coated hookers.

The LS Edelbrock headers for the early a-bodies are really nice. they fit well and since they are stepped they make good power. Highly recommended.

I have the edelbrocks also. They are really nice. Kind of expensive but I am glad I bought them.

are all of you using the fbody oilpan though? no problems with it? im debating on using it or the lh8. what are your thoughts on the two? i know the oilpan and headers are going to dictate how i build my mounts.

I am using the F-body pan. Its a tight fit stabbing the engine with the F-body, but the LH8 pan hangs a solid 2 inches below the crossmember and to me thats not ok.

I plan on using edelbrock headers with the S&P modified pan, Im sure it will be a good fit once I put it in, but Im biting my nails on oil capacity now and think I wasted a few hundred bucks
