Default O2 sims

I put headers on my car a couple months ago and put O2 sims in place of my rear O2s i was wondering if i need to keep them on for my car to run properly or just so my computer won't throw codes

I'm pretty sure that the code for the REAR 02's will not affect performance, I could be wrong though.

Ya that's what I was thinking too. I turned off the SES code for the rear O2's to never come but I didn't think that the rear O2's did anything except read the temp or somethin like that of the rear O2's

So even if I didn't have anything in place of rear o2's it would still run the same just would throw a code?

Ya same here. Cuz I have the sims on my car sold I just haven't takin them off to ship them yet (sold them two days ago and go to work when it's dark and get home when it's dark, working outta state). I got to thinking after I had them sold to someone who already gave me if I actually needed them or not

yes, it will still run the same. i dont have cats and just removed my rear o2's and installed an oil drain plug in the bungs (18mm x 1.5 pitch). i bought the oil drain plugs frm advance auto. oil drain plugs are for a toyota

all rear o2's do is detect a malfunctioning cat. front o2's will affect performance, rears dont affect performance

By tuned out you mean they went in and turned the code to never trip an SES light? Cuz if so I've already done this
