Default Fired Up The Twins **Sweet Music** (The saga continues)

Well we got it together enough to fire it up. Man what a sweet sound. Ive missed hearing her run...LOL

Let it run for a couple minutes then back under to check for leaks.

Still have not finished up the cold side but I got the IC mounted and the radiator block off shield mocked up.

Still to do:
*Bend cold side from turbo to IC
*Turbo blankets
*Wrap hot side pipes
*Wrap oil return with DEI tape
*Tap both turbos for boost reference
*run vacuum from turbos to waste gates
*Run vacuum to Hobbs switch
*Hang x pipe and connect to down pipes
*Mount computers

Unfortunately this will have to wait until after vacation.

If you have followed the build, I had to remove the oil pan due to taping for the oil returns. I am glad I did. Man there was some shavings in that thing. It wasn't that bad of a task. Took about 3 hours to do. I only have a few pics but I cant post them until later tonight when I get home.

It still amazes me to this day what they can fit in those Corvette engine bays. Nice work!

Mmmm...nothing like a Sawzall in the fender of a Vette...good stuff man.

I firmly believe that the guys who cut their Vettes up enjoy them that much more than anyone else....

it was an ebay mocking of a HP TT kit. I didnt find this out until after I had bought and found out that nothing fit. Now its a custom FIT ( FOR SLAMMED VETTES ) version of the HPTwin kit.

Maybe it is just me but it looks like the turbo is bouncing around a lot. Is that normal for that to have that much flex?

I dont have any cold piping installed or the helper spring run up to assist in holding them.

Also I have a huge cam in it.
