Default Got $ want a short block, 408...

I got a few K$$ looking for a short block 408. Any recomendations, shops & price? I have a budget as there are a few things I want to get done other than the engine so for the right price it may be a done deal.

It doesn't need to be forged, as it'll be in a daily with no spray. I've got heads and cam so need the shortblock.

Thanks!

leading edge performance, killer engines! why not spend the money and do it right and go forged?

I had to set a budget goal. I'm also going to do a T-56 swap so I need a clutch too. I'm trying to go 408, with an m6 and 4.11s. Sounds real nice to me. My goal isn't to race it or spray, just a few passes. I maybe put 40 miles a week on it with no traffic.

Are these blocks Iron or alum?

I just got a Vortech for my LT1 383. So this will be the weekend car...

I will pm you with some info, we offer engines from HKE. DO a search on his reputation and find nothing but the best. We are reasonably priced as well, putting quality and value together for a premium short or long block.

If money is no issue go with the best and order through 99blanco. As stated before he offers HKE engines. One of the best if not the best builders in this country
