Question Head Gaskets?

I don't know what's up with the search, but it shows me everything of the exact opposite of what I type. Go figure. Either way, i'm putting in a hot cam kit, and replacing everything on, or in the car. Was going to go ahead and slap on some new head gasets since my car has 167,xxx mi and i'm already there. The auto part store has a set for like 20 bucks a piece, and then a set for like 50 bucks a peice. You guys recommend any particular kind, I think those are Felpro. Thanks

I personally use Fel- Pro gaskets whenever I can use them. I've been in the field for 6 years and have never had a problem with them

get some felpro 1074's on jegs or summit for like $36 a piece. Great set of gaskets and they will be at your door in 2 days

Nothing wrong with felpro gaskets. You might want to look into running a cometic gasket to bump up your compression a little.

I have ran cometic on 2 motors and they are a little pricey but great head gaskets.

The impala head gaskets are .029 thickness. I'd recommend those or the fel-pro 1074 at .039 thickness
