I took mycar to the track and the first two passes my tranny was acting up. I got DTC Errors 22 and 72. TPS sensor low and Output speed loss. Does anyone know what could have caused this. The problems went away after the 3rd pass. My TPS sensor readings from the throttle body TPS were fine I don't know why the tranny was saying they were low unless it's getting its reading from some other place. As far as the speed output loss I don't know where that came from. anyone have any ideas?

Could be Poor ground issue. Keep an eye on it to see if it returns.

well the output speed loss is probably the output shaft speed sensor that is in the tailshaft. I would check that connector. The TPS sensor low shouldn't affect the transmission I wouldn't think.

don't know why the tranny would think the tps was low when the sensor was reading fine according to the log. the transmission log showed it was reading low though. i'll check the sensor.

which ground should i be checking?

I would check all of them. I am not sure which one it would be specifically for the tranny sensors, just do an overall check of all your chassis grounds and the battery ground.

Both TPS an VSS will effect the way a transmission functions.

Well there ya go, fix your TPS and VSS issues and you should be fine.
