Default If your Dyno Graph looked like this....

Where would you start looking for the lost power?

A TR224 cam and 918 springs were installed 6 weeks ago. Pushrods are Comp Cams 7955 7.400. Heads have a multiangle valve job and mild port work. Does this graph indicate valve float? I dunno what the spring height is or should be.
It made less power on each pull, the A/F is 12.8-13.0, its kinda hard to read in the pic. At the strip the car will not pull past 5K RPM's in high gear and traps 107 mph. On the dyno I was amazed to see the tach go up to 6400, obviously making no power. Now what? Autotap it and look for what? Check the spring height? Could it have the wrong push rods? Too long/short? Just give me somethin to go by, im at a loss and really frusterpated. Thanks for sharing my pain!!!!

I can't read the dynograph, but it looks like there's no ingition timing. Check that the knock sensor wires aren't getting pinched and are plugged in correctly. When you Autotap, check timing. At WOT it should be around 24º-26º. Check to see if there is any kr that could be pulling timing out. Belive me, when these engines don't get the necessary timing, they run like sh*t.
That cam should make great power to 6300-6500rpms.

Good luck,
Richard

I'm guessing the dyno didn't have A/F? If it did, that would be good to know.

Things to check:
Proper A/F
Timing
No KR

Also, can you give us a run down of all your mods..

The A/F is at the bottom of the chart, it reads 12.8-13.0. Other mods include lid, K&N filter, stock MAF, LS6 intake, TTS headers with cats, 3.5 mufflex catback, ASP pully, built vacuum mod 4L60, ST3500, strange 12 bolt w/3:73's.
FWIW the time in my sig is with these heads, a 216/220 cam w/LS6 springs, stock trans, SY3500 and 3:73 10 bolt.

Who installed the cam? I think I'd be double checking the dots on the sprockets. Were the stock sprockets and chain reused?

I think your cam was installed wrong or the valve train geometry is off. You are definately losing some serious power.

Cam was installed by me and some friends. Dots on the stock chain and crank sprocket were dead on. I checked it twice and the other two guys looked at it good too.

Could be that the valves are being held open, timing is real low,or if you have Cats they are plugged up.
