Default Nitrous System

I currently have the NX kit that is adjustable to 250. I'm only going to run a 100 shot but, I was thinking of running a seperate fuel cell. Hell, I figure instead of buying 5 gallons of fuel and mixing it at the track it would save me money in the long run to get a seperate fuel cell and run race fuel in it. How are you guys setting this up?? I was thinking of getting a pump like you run on a carbed car regulating the pressure and running the pills you need at that fuel pressure. I dunno, just wondering what you guys are doing or what needs to be done.

You need what's called a dedicated fuel system. Has everything you need.

I have a Cold Fusion dedicated cell for sale, almost new. Was on the car for 2 mos. Mounts in left front of engine compartment, complete with pump, regulator and lines. This is a low pressure fuel pump system.

$400

If you are only running a 100 shot, just upgrade your pump and call it a day. You can get a Racetronix fuel pump kit with a Walbro 255lph fuel pump for ~200 bucks with the hot wire harness.

Thas a brave statement, seeing as its not your engine.

With a modded car running 11.60's already, with a NOS system capable of 250hp. YES I would run a dedicated cell and race fuel. No matter how big the shot. The car already has a good bit of cylinder pressure to run 11.60.

You will also need some way of retarding timing for the spray. DOnt forget about spark plug heat range. You will have to drop back.

I didn't know all of the facts. Thought is was stock, n2o only.

TR6's will be good.

Agreed, your putting down some HP now NA, you should get a dedicated fuel system for the N2o.

I already have a 255 in tank, I have a digital 6 box to retard timing. I've ran the kit with my old setup. Just curious how to set one up and how they worked??
