What are you guys running for pipe diameter? I was planning on going with 3" but I think it might be a bit much for just a bolt-on lt1. Anyone running 2 1'2"?

imo 2.5", sounds better, less obnoxious for DDing, and better ground clearance.

Thanks for the info guys, 2 1/2" sounds like my best bet. . hmmm I wonder if my exhaust shop could fab up an x-pipe a little cheaper than a summit or jegs kit. Anybody have a custom x-pipe?

Yeah I get all my exhaust work done there, I've been in there quite a few times with this and my previous car. I havn't had the duals priced yet, I'm gonna wait until I'm closer to being done with the header/converter install. I can let you know how much it costs if you're interested.
