Default TSP oil pump doesn't come with an o-ring

You've got to be kidding me.
This $150 texas speed oil pump doesn't even come with a 2 cent o-ring.

Well it cost more than $.02. I'm not sure if any of them come with it though.

I think the O-ring is $4.

That reminds me. Blazen T/A owes me an O-ring. His SLP pump did not come with one either.

But then again, Brandon did not have 1/2 the gaskets he needed for the cam install. Luckily gman and I did .

I got both a green & a black O ring with my Melling 10296 Oil Pump...and I think I paid $115 for the pump!

I didn't get one with my APE ported pump either, so it's not just TSP's policy. And like stated above, it's not a 2 cent o-ring either. You should send it back to TSP to get your money back.

Did you even PM or call them to ask them? Give them a chance.

I beleive "2 cent" o-ring is just a point he was trying to make...spending so much money and not getting a fairly essential part......dont take it too seriously

what do you mean give them a chance? Im sure none of them come with one. sure if he complains they will send him one for free probably, but some people dont like waiting around on something that should be included in the first place.

......I MENT dont take the "2 cents" seriously like people were, because I doubt he cares if it costs $4, its the idea that something like that should be included.

yeah excuse me. i can go to autozone and get a gasket included with a $7 tstat. I'm really expecting a lot I guess.
Maybe a note it's not included on the website might be nice. I certainly would have bought one had I known at the time it didn't come with it.
Anyway here I am stuck with an engine I can't put back together because of a $4 o-ring.
Is there a parts store one that works?
Just a generic rubber o-ring ok or will it leak and/or get destroyed?

Im sorry, i couldn't resist. If your old ones not cut up you could probably get away with reusing it. If you dont want to do that I'd say just order one and wait. It would suck to match one up and find out the hard way it didn't work.

Probably just a standard VITON Metric O-Ring, but that's just a guess.

Dealer maybe?
