Racetronix Install Complete
Well I just gone done installing my Racetronix pump and Hot-wire kit. I must say, Very nice product! Everything was plug-n-play and was a breeze to install. I used the trap door method to get to the pump so that made it easy. The instructions are very good..Colored pictures and all. Took me 2.5hrs from start to finish. Fired right up on the first start and I verified 62psi @ idle. Just chiming in to let anyone thats lookin at this kit that I highly suggest it. Thumbs up to Racetronix!!

Congrats.. I did my Racetronix and wire kit (LT1 engine) about 6 months ago.. I did NOT do the trap door method. OMG, it was quite a bit of work. I got everything installed but the in-tank fuel meter/bar thing was off just a bit. As a result, my gas gauge showed EMPTY even though I had a 1/2 of a tank of gas. So, I had to take EVERYTHING down again! This time around, we used a small scope/camera and got it set properly. Whew.. But, the upside is, BYE BYE stock fuel pump.. woohoo!

Remove the red lock and unplug the sender connector from the chassis connector.
Plug the sender connector into the RX harness and re-insert the red lock.
Plug the RX harness into the connector on your chassis and replace the red lock.

I forgot to post back in here. I did that this weekend. All is well. The instructions provided shouldn't have a different picture that has two 8 pin connectors and then using the bottom connector.
I didn't see any fuel pressure increase after the install either. It's the same as it was before.

It is best to remove your metal tank to clean it out and check for rust etc.

the internal baffle on the metal tanks causes it not to need that plastic bucket I think. I am in the process of doing mine but I need to run more fuel out of it for the next weekend to i can drop it. I think the best person to ask is Mighty Mouse as he has already done it.
