NHRA Emblems
Okay, first off. What does it mean if you have the NHRA package on you car? I supposedly have it on my car, and the charged me like an extra $1,200 for it.
Secondly, i figured that there were some NHRA emblems for it, and I finally saw some on a Formula. Anyone know where I can get them?

Re: NHRA Emblems
I am not sure. Take a look @ your window sticker and see if you car has the package on it. I want some bad. (Emblems that is) haha.
I am thinking that it was a package that came with the firebird line. Only seen it on a Formula, and on my window sticker.

Re: NHRA Emblems
The NHRA package came with either the TA or the formula. It was like an extra 300-500 bucks and included the decals and not much else (somebody who owns one should chime in here). The decals were dealer installed (or at least some were) which is why they may or may not have been applied to the car. Before I purchased my 02 Z28 I was all set to pick up a NHRA formula from New Hampshire but my local dealer who was working the negotiations said they wouldn't let go of the car. Hope this helps some.

Go there if you want these badges...they had my LAST OF A BREED emblems for my '02 on it.
You know for both of our cars being "special edition" cars why did we not get the badges? I'm a lil upset about it still when I found out from a dealer here in Michigan (on a vacation back home) that all 2002 T/A's were supposed to have these badges.

I got mine at the deler you can order them on red, black or puwter. I have them on a 2000 WS6 TransAm looks nice. You get the side fender emblems and pontiac crossed raceing flags that go on the side of the side piller between the side window and the back hatch and the bird that goes on the back between the tail lights and a NHRA key chain for $250.00 You will haft to asked for a 98 or 99 because thay did not have it in 2000.

Well, i got them from the dealer, they cost the dealer $160. However i dont believe the NHRA package came on a WS6 TA. i am thinking only Formula's, and Base Trans AM's. But im sure it looks good and thats really all that matters, im sure not too many people know much about our cars, unless they drive one themselves. Ill try and post some pictures of my car here in Appearance & Detailing with the badges installed.

In all truthfulness, I would have ordered it too. I didn't know it was an option when I special ordered my Formula. I wouldn't have paid $1,200 for it, but I would have been willing to find a few bills. It's like you said - it makes it different. And I always like that...
