Default Hey guys, got the LPP's today... PICS

Hey guys, I got my LPP long tubes in the mail today and spent the last couple hours installing them along with Spohn solid motor mounts. The whole install, mounts included took about 2 hours... VERY easy header to install.

Anyways, I am an extremely happy camper with this header. I've had Pacesetter, Kooks, QTP's and now these and these blow the Pacesetters away and are right up there with the Kooks and QTP's with quality and fitment.... Best part is they are stainless and only cost $470 SHIPPED. AWESOME deal. Here's the pics. Any questions fire away!

do you think they would have fit well without the solid mounts?

Looks good. I'm still curious to see a dyno comparison between these and the big named versions

Eh, Don't know. Probably not. I have done solid mounts though on the last 3 f cars I've owned so it was just something I was going to be doing regardless. It helped out though because of the added clearances that solid mounts give.

Great. I can take some pics if you like. The only one that was close was the second primary in on the drivers side. MSD boots are bendable so it worked out just fine. Bent it slightly and I now have great clearance on all the plugs all the way around.

Yeah. I'll be hitting up the dyno soon but I will have done H/C and full bolt ons so it won't be of any help lol. I really don't think there's much of a performance difference between headers of the same primary size. I really don't. I think mainly what you're paying for is the name, fitment, and material used... that's it...

Default headers

hi, did you have any problems with them hitting the drivers side floor board and the frame up front on the drivers side??? i had to notch out a 50 cent piece size up front and add some exhaust pipe behind the headers to angle down the y-pipe a inch or so so it wasn't sitting on the drivers side floor board. also my y-pipe rattles like crazy at idle.it rattles from the passenger side. i need to fix it when i get some time. i like that there stainless and they sound good. it just seems like some people have no problems and others have to modify a bit. thanks, mike

Wow you did that in no time. Question... So with the new motor mounts you you actually remove the old lower motor mount bracket or does it more it or what? Reason I ask is because my driver's side LPP header is resting right on the lower motor mount bracket. It basically just causes a vibration, but it seems to be getting better to me, either that or I'm just getting used to it haha. So my options are either take the header off and grind the bracket or get new motor mounts so I just was wondering what all the motor mounts did to add more clearance.

yeah i just put on LPPs yesterday too!!!, i went with poly motor mounts and WOW, those are twice as hard as headers. i noticed my motor is sitting a little higher with those new mounts. i have plenty of room around the drivers side motor mount. the only thing i did was notch the k member. i acctually put in the header 3 times. ive never had any other long tubes but these go in very easy. if anyones on the fence about getting these headers, id do it!!!

glad to see your install went good too. mine took a little longer from the poly mounts, beins you have to pull the A/C and alternator, and getting the big 18mm bolt back in was a huge pain!

Im running them with the stock motor mounts and they fit perfect without any notching or clearance problems. Easy header install. I recommend these headers to everyone.

Love the motor mounts. Does cause more vibration but nothing I can't tolerate. I think it makes the car feel more solid personally.
