Default Max RPM on Stock btm end

Like the title says: What's the max "safe" RPM on a stock btm end with arp rod bolts? What are you guys turning your cam-only cars up to?

I have about 300 passes turining it to 6900 every pass. put 4.56's in it and have made 10 passes going through the traps at 7400 on stock rod bolts( stupid idea, dont do it) putting the 7k limiter back on it to keep the motor alive

I spun my old motor (cam only, stock shortblock) to 6800 on countless track passes over a couple years. I don't know how long it would have lasted, but there were no signs of bottom end damage when I tore it down.

well with ARP rod bolts its no longer stock bottom end really...

completely stock plenty of guys spin up to 7,000... but thats the limiter, they're shifting earlier then that

with the arp rod bolts alot of guys spin plenty pasted 7,000 with out a problem

now whats safe???? really nothing close to that, it could last 4 passes or 400 passes, ya never know

also keep in mind your curves when deciding where to shift, some set ups drop off very fast
