Default how much nitrous to drop 3/10 in the 1/8???

the setup: NX wet kit through a nitrous outlet plate controlled by a FJO progressive controller.

im going for the 7.50 index bracket class and the last time out I ran 7.80 N/A in decent weather (+450 DA). I figure the progressive controller will be my best frined in the bracket series so I can speed up and slow my truck down by just pushing a few buttons. this is all in my extended cab silverado. i would love to get the truck down to a 7.48 or 7.49 so i can do a little brake scrubbing. what do you guys think?

This isn't something that anybody is gonna be able to answer for you, too many variables. Every vehicle reacts differently to nitrous....My advice would be start with a 50 and go from there.

I would change jets before I would run a 75 shot at 80% duty cycle constantly.

If you do the later you will beat up the solenoids pretty badly. I suggest using the FJO to ramp up to 100%, no less.

oh no im not guna pulse my solenoids all the way down the track. i can simply let the nitrous hit later at 100% or let it ramp slower or a combo... theres too many options with this controller. not going to just let it pulse all the way down though

Is there a time delay/gear lockout on the FJO? Would be nice launch off motor, then hit 75-100 once you hit second.

you can delay it by tenths, gears, rpm, ramp rate by rpm, ramp rate by time, 2 stages...

im kind of thinking about hitting it hard out of the hole and finishing the race on motor. they will be so caught up in putting a fender in front of me they could break out.

I guess it all depends whether you want to case or be chased.

Make sure the class rules allow you to use a progressive controller. I know the class run around here does not allow them.

good idea..

id rather run just a hair faster than my class and be chased...then scrub the brakes at the last second and let them break out
