LS6 vs Ported FAST 90/90 on a C5Z06
In case some haven't seen my thread, there are some dyno graphs comparing my car pre FAST, the first graph, and post FAST, the last 2. The FAST was ported by Tony Mamo and the 90mm TB was ported by Pete I at Vmax. Sorry for the awful drawings, just wanted to get something out there. The car hasn't been dyno tuned in the last 2 graphs, purely street tuned. I know there is about 5-10rwhp more in it if I dialed it in on a dyno. I didn't and probably won't because I dont drive/race on a dyno. The car is a beast on the streets.
PRE FAST 90/90...stock ls6 manifold (cam, lt, pulley, vararam, ford 30#)
Post FAST 90/90 (ignore the 390tq, the dyno didnt pick it up. Numbers were 432/402 all three times

Nice #'s! Is it an '01 or '02 model? Or would that even matter once you change the cam?
EDIT: Nevermind, just saw the other thread.

Got a heck of a deal on it. Plus I had nitrous on my last car and I dont want a bottle in the z06. And to do nitrous right, is around 2k, plus then the endless bottle fills. Its either n/a or boost for me, which the FAST will work with both

lol. I wish. Im going to have to cam my car to put down the power that car is making and then i still weigh 400 more pounds. oh well.
Im not going to settle on my next purchase.

Am I the only one that thinks this seems to be a bad return on investments.. he got 12whp and 10wtq for something that costs prob 1500$ new... I would be upset if this was all I gained from a stock fast 90/90 setup much less a ported setup.

It's fairly common knowledge that FAST intakes aren't for the budget spenders trying to make a dollar out of .15c. It's for the guys who want the most out of their setup. While the gains are marginal in comparison to the $ spent, the gains are still there and necessary to know you got the "most" out of your setup.

Well I got a heck of a deal on it so my hp/$$ is a lot more than you think Im going back to the dyno to try and get rid of that downward bump at 5k, which I now believe could be the tune, then I hope to see 440rwhp
