sensor in oil pan

sensor in oil pan
while removing my oil pan a i broke then sensor the inserts into the pan. Is this my oil temp sensor? Can someone let me knowe what its called so i can get a new one please.

sorry for the high jack but i bought one of these senors by mistake, well i thought i was ordering the sending unit but got this. What exactly does the level sensor do? thanks and sorry OP for the high jack

Don't need to. We just had a thread on this and someone chimed in that they got one from a parts store, and I listed a P# from NAPA as well. Thankfully I still have that image I made!
OP: You can take this part number and goto another autoparts chain to cross reference. I'd just print that out, but if not just make sure to mention it's an Echlin brand.

LOL i knew that i guess i had a brain fart. i was looking at it and was trying to figure how it works. it has a plastic part coming out with a plastic ring around it . the ring i guess floats and maybe sends a signal when it comes into contact with the part its around ???
