Broken header bolt-broken easy out-I'm fugged!
I was getting ready to drop in my motor and noticed the machinist neglected to remove a broken header bolt from the head. No big deal, right? Just drill it out and use an easy out. Broke the damn easy out and now I'm destroying bits because the easy out chunk is too hard to drill into. There is not enough bolt to do the "weld the nut on trick" Any advice or is the motor going to the machine shop?
Thanks!
Thanks!

my .020(.02 CAD = 0.0160795 USD) These are from my post on another site....
Yeeha, got the little buggers out. Here are some pics, the ones of the broken bolts before I started didn't turn out. Sprayed the head with spatter release, then cleaned the broken stud. Welded a bead on the stud and built it out, then welded on the nut. would protect the head more if you could hold a washer against the head. Took about 2 hours.
